What information this website collects and how I use it.

The short version. No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. I use anonymous page-view analytics to see which parts of the site people visit. The personal information I receive is what you choose to send me, along with basic technical information recorded by the hosting provider.
What I collect
- When you get in touch. If you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, business name if provided, and your message.
- Standard server logs. The hosting provider records technical details such as IP address, browser type and the time of a visit. These logs help keep the website secure and running.
- Anonymous page-view counts. I use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages people visit. It doesn’t use cookies to build a profile of you or identify individual visitors through the analytics dashboard.
Why I collect it
I use your contact details to read and reply to your enquiry. Technical information and analytics help me keep the website running and understand which pages are useful.
I don’t sell or rent your personal information, and I won’t add you to a mailing list.
Who helps run the site
- Vercel hosts the website, provides server logs and supplies the page-view analytics.
- Resend delivers contact-form messages to my inbox.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site. When your browser loads these fonts, Google may receive your IP address.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry emails for as long as I reasonably need them to respond to you and manage the enquiry, then delete them. If you’d like me to delete yours sooner, just ask.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can ask to see the personal information I hold about you and request corrections where needed. You can also ask me to delete information where applicable.
Email me and I’ll respond to your request.
Changes
If I change how I handle personal information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
